The Virginia Fire and Emergency Service Equity and Diversity Advisory Committee invites all Virginia Fire and Emergency Service Departments/Agencies, public safety partners, and public servants to the annual Equity and Diversity Conference. This year’s theme is“Taking off the mask to uncover the path to equality.” This theme challenges each of us to move beyond surface-level conversations and confront the deeper truths necessary to create lasting change. Through bold dialogue, meaningful connection, and collaborative learning, we aim to uncover and dismantle the barriers that hinder equity within our profession and our communities.
